Tetra Pak design and deliver liquid food processing lines and plants all over the world. In Lund we have teams supporting our global organization with the aim to bring optimal solutions to the continuously growing global liquid food market. The Beverage team in Business Unit Liquid Food is now looking for a Senior Plant Engineer/Technical Line Solution Manager to strengthen the team.
What you will do
Within our team we work with solutions for processing of all beverage products from Juice Nectar & Still Drinks to Plant Based Beverages. You will together with our existing Centre of Expertise team be a key person in the global beverage organization. You will drive activities to create, deploy and support our processing line concepts within this area, both within the Business Unit, to our market companies and to our customers. We offer you a challenging position in a highly qualified team and close cooperation with sales and market companies all over the world.
You will focus on:
• Take global technical ownership of production concepts for Juice Nectar & Still Drinks & Plant Based Beverages
• Improve & develop best practise production concepts, using Cost of Ownership tools, Production Time scheduling and performance guarantees based on our portfolio
• Support & collaborate with the global sales team and our global engineering teams in pre-project engineering and training
• Support customers with technical expertise, trouble shooting of their production facilities providing them improved productivity and sustainability
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and includes appr. 20% travelling.
Who you are
To be successful in this position you are a self-motivated person who likes to be the driving force and take an overall responsibility. You are curious and enjoy sharing your knowledge and inspire people. You possess a very good technical understanding and an ability to absorb and understand customer needs, in order to find the best solutions for our customers. You also have the ability to see ahead and can anticipate future consequences.
Your communication skills are excellent, and you can build trust and good relations with global colleagues, in technically oriented positions. You have a degree in engineering or equivalent and an extensive experience of designing production lines in the liquid food industry. If you have experience from the beverage industry it is an advantage. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
