We are now looking for a Senior planner to complete the team in the Vehicle Logistics Center in Malmo, Sweden.
Publiceringsdatum2019-10-10Dina arbetsuppgifterVehicle Logistics Group is responsible for the distribution of globally produced vehicles (Japan, Europe & S-Africa) to our European retailers, as well as for the global export of European produced vehicles. These vehicles arrive from the different manufacturing plants to our strategically logistic centres where they are stored, customized, inspected and transported to the next delivery point efficient and effective.
This team is responsible to guarantee that our logistics providers carry out all operations related to storage, movement, accessory installation and delivery to our end customers within Toyota Safety & Quality standards. Toyotas end customers are located in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and the Baltic States. This while reaching and focusing on the necessary environmental and productivity goals.
Your primarily responsibility will be the planning of our operations in the workshop. Where they install many different accessories into the vehicles and perform final inspection before delivery to the final customers.
The main tasks you will be responsible for:
• Daily contact with our National Marketing and Sales Companies in the Nordic countries, in order to understand the customers' requirements and act upon these.
• Translate the forecasts provided by the National Marketing and Sales Companies into monthly and weekly capacity planning.
• Share and review the planning information with our logistics partners on site and with transport contractors, to assure sufficient resource to deliver our vehicles within promised delivery dates.
• Daily contact with our Brussel head office to report abnormalities in the logistics processes.
• Daily/Monthly KPI management reporting.
• You are the main contact person for higher management when local manager is absent.
ProfilWe believe that you have a university degree and have experience in working with planning and logistics.
You are result oriented and see the solution instead of the problems. You have the ability to think creatively so you can solve the problems that you may encounter in your daily work. You are driven by self development, are persistent and persevering to achieve our goals, where you also make sure to have thorough facts before making your decisions and recommendations. You need to be service minded and have a customer-oriented approach.
You need to be assertive and self-confident, able to influence the organization and make decisions for day-to-day operational problems. You thrive in an environment where the workload varies. You are a team player who takes high pride in your work. You have strong communications skills both verbally and written in English and Swedish and toy also need to have very good working experience with Excel.
