We are a Swedish start-up providing technology solutions to the grocery industry. Our platform enables retailers to optimize their operations and enhance their customers' shopping experience. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back End Developer to join our team and help us build and maintain our cutting-edge web applications.
Job Description:
As a Senior Back End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications using PHP and Laravel. You will work closely with our front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to ensure that our applications are efficient, scalable, and meet the needs of our customers. Team leadership capabilities are a huge plus.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and Laravel.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate our back-end applications with our front-end systems.
Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure that our applications are user-friendly and visually appealing.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
Ensure the scalability and performance of our applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in back-end development.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
Mentor junior developers and help them improve their skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of experience in back-end web development with a focus on PHP and Laravel.
Expertise in PHP and Laravel.
Understanding of database design and development.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Team leadership capabilities.
Location:
This position is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and requires the candidate to work from our company HQ.
