Flightradar24 is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PHP development, particularly with the Laravel framework, and should possess knowledge or a keen interest in working with other PHP frameworks. Our team is responsible for a range of products, and longer-term this role will involve working across several of them.
Note that this position requires that you are able to work in Stockholm, Sweden.
What you'll do
Implement new functionality and maintain existing features across our products
Collaborate with the product team and your peers to capture feature requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
Make use of automation with Docker, Jenkins, and Terraform to improve the Software Development Life-Cycle
Who you are
Experienced engineer with at least 4 years of PHP experience.
Proficient with the Laravel framework. Familiarity with other PHP frameworks is a plus.
Experienced with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Proficient with version control systems like Git.
Experienced with RESTful API development and integration.
Familiar with relational database systems such as MySQL and MariaDB
Understanding of agile development methodologies.
Experience with Docker, Jenkins, and/or Terraform is a bonus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communicator who is able to work independently and as part of a team.
Well organised with the ability to work in multiple projects simultaneously.
