hela Sverige Senior Packaging Engineer with a Supply Chain mindset
We are now looking for an experienced engineer for a long term assignment as a consultant to strengthen the clients' efforts to launch our upcoming projects in a quality assured way. Transparency, standardization and common development are fundamental keywords in order to become lean and more efficient within logistics.
Packaging Engineering is responsible for the development, implementation and fleet management of packaging solutions. All parts delivered to a plant must be transported and handled in packaging that are quality assured, ergonomic to handle and cost efficient. This is applicable in the complete supply chain, including empty return flows. Packaging plays an important role in the general logistic setup, quality and Landed Cost structure.

Main responsibility is to implement packaging solutions in new car projects.
Scope is pending but could involve the following units:
• Trim & Final
• Packaging engineering work towards and together with part suppliers, ensure timely system updates of relevant packaging data
• Ensure cost efficiency and quality of packaging solutions
• Ensure common practice and packaging solutions for multiple plants
• Provide support to local plant packaging engineers when necessary
• Status reports, packaging development
• Work to limit unnecessary or, in other way, unwanted repacks
• Ensure flawless project launch in terms of packaging readiness and availability
• Ensure smooth and cost efficient flows of packaging and components
• Take appropriate actions whenever required
Required qualifications:
• University degree
• A few years' experience within Logistics and Production, preferably within automotive
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Green belt certified or equivalent

• Good communication and cooperative skills
• Problem solving orientated
• Analytical and structured way of working
• Positive mindset
• Team player and good social abilities
• Strong Networking abilities
• Have the possibility to travel if needed
• Ability to take actions and decisions
