About the role/assignment
We are looking for a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join the Reporting Solution DevOps Team in performing the daily operation, maintenance and development in mainly Oracle PL/SQL and SAS. The team produce reports and decision material in mainly SAS tools (Base, Viya, SCL) that retrieves data from the Oracle DB and from DB/2 (Mainframe) for financial daily, monthly, quarterly closing of the books.
New business requirements and needs are constantly coming in. They work close with the Product Owners in an agile set-up. They plan the work in Increments/PI-periods. They aim to migrate from Oracle to Google Cloud, and will start analysis when they have enough capacity.
Skills/-experience needed
Daily Operation:
Support to colleagues and business. Maintain and develop old and new functionality in an Oracle PL/SQL application containing financial information.
This application is crucial for daily reporting by the Finance department at our client.
Skills needed:
Please note: Daily operation is done by the team being a DevOps team - all of the team's involved.
Senior Oracle PL/SQL developer.
Good knowledge of Linux servers.
Extra plus for SAS BASE, SAS Viya, SAS SCL.
Knowledge of DB/2 and Mainframe (OPC).
Extra plus for Python, good knowledge of Excel, BI-tools.
Extra plus for Google Cloud experience.
Service minded Team player.
Deep interest in Financial data and reporting.
Preferably Swedish-speaking or fully Swedish understanding.
