hela Sverige Perido is looking for a Senior Operations Engineer for our client, an international company that is changing the way people think about everyday banking through their application solution. You'll be working at the Swedish office centrally located in Stockholm.
This position offers you a great responsibility for the entire process of the app development and you will be a part of a fantastic journey within a dynamic booming business. You will be the in-house operations expert and work closely with the development team and operations consultants to pro-actively ensure that the company's platforms and systems are secure, scalable, maintainable and robust. Typical concerns would include scaling up and out, load balancing, monitoring and alerting. You will also have an active participation in continuous improvement of development tools and deployment pipelines.
To be successful and perform well in this position you are attentive to details and self-motivated with a high dedication to work. Since you'll be working towards the American business market it is required that you have excellent communications skills in English, both oral and written. Required qualifications
• At least three years of technical operations and/or devops experience in a Linux environment, preferably Ubuntu/Debian
• Experience in effectively communication with asynchronous, remote teams via email, Slack, Trello, etc.
• Experience with Apple hardware and software, such as macOS and iOS running on Macs, iPhones, iPads, etc.
• Experience with configuration and large scale deployment of the MySQL database
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
Meritorious
• Communication skills in Swedish, both oral and written
• Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible
• Solid understanding of security concerns around backend applications exposing HTTPS-based API's via nginx
Contract type and hours
Full-time, permanent position with start as soon as possible.
