Operations Engineer, BTS Networks Service Assurance
Job description
As an Operations Engineer you will be responsible for second level fault handling, trouble shooting and operations of our Swedish (AS3301) and International (AS1299) core IP networks. You will also have the possibility to work with our Swedish and International xWDM networks.
As a second level engineer you will be responsible for our IP/xWDM business services together with the Swedish and International Customer Care units, the customers range from smaller businesses to large corporations. You will have a direct contact with our external vendors, subcontractors, customers, development engineers and managers to ensure a fast and high quality Service Assurance process.
The office hours for the team are weekdays 07:30-22:00 which means you will be working in a flexible shift list with on-call service outside office hours. It is mandatory to participate on the on-call duty list for all engineers on the team.

Qualifications
• You have understanding within the IP area (e.g. TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, ISIS etc.).
• Fluent in oral and written English and Swedish
• University degree or working experience within the IP-area.
• ITIL knowledge

You have the motivation to find and solve problems in our network independently. You have a positive attitude and are willing to work with many different stakeholders. You understand that the view from the customer's perspective controls your initiatives and priorities.
