The development of this platform is done by Volvo Cars Digital in the department Architecture & Platforms.

As Senior Backend Software Engineer you build the foundational technology, work across the stack and are always willing to go the extra mile to deliver highest quality in enterprise software. As a developer within the dSPA you will help Volvo Cars in becoming even more agile in its development of new digital services for our customers. The Environment:
* Cloud first architecture utilizing both AWS and Azure
* Code deployed on Kubernetes and PaaS services from above vendors

What you'll do
As Senior Backend Software Engineer you will lead and mentor aspiring members of the team and work with customers as needed. Using your background and ambition you will: Contribute to the design and architecture of our dSPA Platform. Help scale the platform and build out new features. Participate and contribute to the DevOps process and tool building. Be involved in the Open Source communities that we use to realise our platform. Collaborate in the frontend development when needed, developing new skills if necessary. Apply algorithm development to solve deep problems.
Do you fit the profile?
You have documented knowledge in AWS and/or Azure. Experience in building micro-services and/or Service Oriented Architecture experience is required. The ability to develop in more than one development language. If you have skills in API development and management it can be beneficial. Experience in creating distributed data intensive services is also a bonus.
