Arbetsbeskrivning / Work Description
Working in a team environment, the Accountant Nordics is responsible for providing financial information to the organization by maintaining and reconciling accounts and providing support to the Head of Finance and the Finance team. In this position you are responsible for running the General Ledger accounting of the Nordic subsidiaries and having control on sub-ledgers, complying with local accounting standards and tax requirements; and also performing monthly reconciliations of Intercompany and balance accounts.
We are looking for a senior accountant who will be responsible for the financial accounting and month end close process. You will prepare, analyze and coordinate reconciliations for balance accounts and Intercompany transactions. A central part of your work will be to prepare the monthly Balance Sheet and P&L Statements as well as preparing the monthly reporting package. Other tasks such as managing the General Ledger, local cash-management with weekly follow-ups and VAT activities will be a part of your work.
Furthermore you will review all P&L results to identify errors, misallocations and accruals and create routines for internal control. We are looking for a person who can give insightful analysis and provide support to the Head of Finance and the Finance Team.
Din profil / Your profile
Degree from a higher education in Accounting is required and we see that you have 3-6 years' experience from finance and 2-3 years as an accountant. Knowledge of local accounting and tax system is required. You are an advanced user of Excel and ERP-Systems and preferably Navision. You have excellent communication and language skills in Swedish and English, other Nordic language is a bonus. You are highly organized and pay attention to detail. If you also have an ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment you might be the one we are looking for?
Our Office is in Kista and the position will be filled when we have found the right candidate.
