We're looking for a Senior NOC (Network Operations Center) Engineer to join our global IT Operations Center at our headquarters in Lund. You'll work with modern technologies, highly skilled colleagues and a global infrastructure where your expertise has a real impact on our business worldwide.
Who is your future team?
You'll join the IT Operations Center team, which is responsible for the global operations of our network infrastructure across both central and local environments. Together, we make sure our network platform stays stable, secure, scalable and highly available.
We work closely with internal stakeholders, IT service delivery teams, project managers and external partners to deliver reliable network services that support business-critical operations around the world. What you'll do here as Senior NOC Engineer
You'll take an active role in the full operational lifecycle of our network infrastructure, from day-to-day operations to the long-term development of the platform. You'll work with a broad range of technologies and have the opportunity to influence how the platform evolves over time.
In this role, you will:
Maintain our global network infrastructure and manage lifecycle and upgrade activities
Manage incidents, including complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Handle problem management and drive preventive improvements
Plan and implement network changes
Take part in delivery and infrastructure projects
Help move our IT operations towards AIOps, using AI to support monitoring and operations
Contribute to the continuous development and optimization of our operational processes
Who are you?
You're an experienced network operations professional with a strong technical foundation and a genuine passion for networking technologies. You enjoy taking ownership, solving complex problems and proactively improving systems and processes. You're comfortable in large-scale enterprise environments, and you thrive when balancing operational stability with continuous change.
You're structured, solution-focused and curious about new technologies. You prioritize and make decisions confidently in an operational setting, and you communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. As a team player, you're happy to act as a mentor for our more junior colleagues.
We'd love to hear that you have:
Solid experience of routing and switching, WAN environments and connectivity solutions, firewall and proxy platforms, and enterprise Wi-Fi
Experience of incident and problem management, network monitoring and operational support in large-scale or global IT environments
Experience of infrastructure lifecycle management
Bonus points if you have any combination of:
Experience of network automation
Experience of network security
