YOU WILL
As a Senior Network security specialist, you will belong to a like-minded group consisting of Senior Network Specialists in different areas, Architects, Service owners, Product owners, and Managers. Your main area together with the team is Scania firewalls solutions based on Check Point. You will strengthen our network security team that supports Scania's digital transformation and implementation of our Cloud first strategy (including zero trust, SD-WAN, Smart Factory, and Cloud-based Clients).
You will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and expertise by analysing and reviewing existing architecture and driving these to more robust and up-to-day solutions according to our strategy. In this role, you will also be proactively participating in projects and initiatives delivering solutions to Scania's business. You will also be involved in cases of complex operational challenges and providing support to internal and external customers. Does this sound like YOU? YOU ARE
As a person, you are a self-starter, team player, and multi-tasker who can manage several assignments ongoing. You value collaborations and have strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to present solutions to Senior Management. In addition to that, you are goal-oriented with a drive to deliver and get improved, be proactive, self-driven, and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team, and most importantly, are willing to learn new technologies and ways of working.
IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, WE ALSO SEE THAT YOU HAVE:
• A couple of years of experience in Enterprise Network security.
• Solid experience and advanced competence in Check Point ecosystem.
• Solid experience in General IT network security awareness - ability to assess risks based on protocol type, flow, application, or node.
• Experience in large or medium-sized environments where you had a complex global network set up and used to work Cross-functionally.
• Interest and experience working with scripting/automation will be taken into consideration.
• Interest and experience working with agile methods.
• Excellent communication skills in English in both speaking and writing.
We see it as big meritorious if you have one or more of the following:
Fortinet knowledge with Firewall, Proxy, and SD-WAN routers, Experience with Tufin tool - both SecureTrack and SecureChange and a relevant university degree and/or relevant certifications e.g in Check Point will be much appreciated.
