The role
As a Senior Network Security Architect you will work with network architecture and security blueprints for the Scania group. Develop enterprise-wide security architecture reference architectures that ensure that security is embedded in all aspects of our IT environment. Participate in forums and meetings to help Scania business ensure network security by design.
Our expectations
As a Senior Network Security Architect you have a thorough understanding of enterprise networking, and extensive experience of network security. You stay up to date with the latest network security standards, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best practices. You will propose and review network design with regard to security measures and recommend enhancements when needed. As Senior Network Security Architect you will also cultivate a culture of security awareness, and continuously educate personnel to ensure security policies are adhered to at all times.
Skills and experience
• Excellent depth and breadth in network security and at least 10+ years documented experience of architectural and design tasks
• Technical understanding and experience of working with network security products in large and complex environments (preferably both on-prem and in cloud)
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the threat environment, relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Good knowledge and understanding of network protocols and networking in general
• Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain technical solutions and enforce security measures,
• Help develop our network security team into a global center of excellence
• To be a part of a team with very skilled, highly motivated and self-managed members with a strong sense of creating value for all stakeholders.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
