This is the job for you, if you have a burning passion for driving the long term development of the networks in TeliaSonera.
The Design and Long Term team are driving long term planning and development of the networks within TeliaSonera Business Area Broadband Networks to secure that our networks can meet the future requirements and demands and to secure that our networks can be used efficiently in a multi-market operation. Your first tasks would be to drive projects and change processes within the PurpleNet program. As a part of a multinational team and organization some traveling may be required
As a Senior Network Architect / Technical Project Manager you will be required to, in collaboration with key internal and external experts, set clear network architecture and drive projects that implement the architecture. You are also expected to act as a change ambassador, catalyst and driving force in production and projects. You report to the Manager of the Design and Long term section and should be prepared to represent and present BTS/Networks in any given situation.
Key areas of responsibility are:
• Network Architecture: describing a clear target, roadmap for the Network Architecture with relevant key deliverables.
• Strategic Programs: RLC Network Architecture, contributing and internal and external Business Areas programs
• Long Term Planning: Break down business area and network strategy targets (BABS/Strategy) as well as Product Targets in correlation to the Long Term Network directions
• Investment Policies: Set the economical demands per production platform to secure that investment are used efficiently in current and new systems. Act as the baseline in new technology selections (part of RFI/RFQ) as well as planned retirement of older systems.
You’re Qualifications:
• You have minimum 5 years of experience from telecommunication business working with Optical and IP networks.
• You have extensive network knowledge and experience in the areas relevant for the position.
• You have project manager experience with a track record of successful management of projects.
• You have a university degree in areas relevant for the position
• You have worked directly with different cultural settings and in multinational teams.
• Being fluent in written and spoken English is required and English would be the working language in most of the project.
• You are able to handle many task in parallel
