hela Sverige Senior Modelling and Simulation Specialist
We are now looking for a Modelling and Simulation Specialist for a 10 months assignment at AstraZeneca. You will have a unique opportunity to apply your modelling and simulation expertise to the preclinical safety area by developing an industry leading Translational Safety department. Simply put, it's a chance to be at the leading edge of translational safety sciences.

Omfattning: Full time, February 2015 - December 2015
Tasks:
• Optimising the design of toxicology studies and developing PK/PD models to enhance project decision-making
• Working to optimise the impact of modelling in efficacy and safety studies
• Evaluating and interpreting data to prepare for internal governance bodies
• Working in appropriate external forums to champion the use of modelling and simulations in toxicology settings
• Contributing to the development and implementation of new strategies for translational safety

You need to show a high degree of flexibility, innovation and commitment to customers.
Qualifications:
• A degree-level education (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline
• A solid knowledge of the drug discovery development process
• Modelling and simulation experience in the areas of PK/PD, pharmacometrics, systems pharmacology, systems biology, or related areas
• An understanding of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics
• An understanding of current principles and concepts in safety assessment
• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge
