We are looking for you who have a great interest and commitment to environmental issues and sustainable development in community building projects. You have experience of working and leading environmental and sustainability issues, environmental assessments, environmental impact assessments, EIA.
You will belong to Impact Assessment in Stockholm
As our new senior consultant/assignment leader, you will be part of our global investment in EIA and ecological services. You will be involved in helping our clients with projects in different phases of investigation from planning in early strategic investigations, to design and implementation. We work in both large and small projects with varied complexity and our customers are in both the private and public sectors. We work with projects all over the country and work closely with other offices and units within Ramboll. As Ramboll is a large global company, there is an opportunity to also work with colleagues and customers internationally. Our current projects are carried out in areas such as wind power, permits for environmentally hazardous activities and water operations, infrastructure planning and implementation, and municipal plans. As an environmental consultant in our team in Stockholm, your base is our office on Krukmakargatan in Södermalm. It is possible to vary your everyday life with partially working from home.
We are now looking for a senior consultant /assignment leader in EIA and sustainability
Main duties:
Lead and coordinate environmental assessment and EIA in, for example, projects related to water activities, environmentally hazardous activities, infrastructure plans and/or municipal plans
Drive environmental and sustainability issues in major infra projects
Lead and coordinate environmental investigations in large projects
Engage in dialogue and communicate with customers, authorities and other stakeholders
Contribute your expertise and experience and share with junior colleagues
Contribute to the development of methods for sustainability in assignments
Contribute to the team's and Ramboll's collaboration and development
In order to thrive in the role and contribute to our work, we believe that you have:
Master's degree in the environmental field as an environmental scientist, biologist, civil engineer or have other equivalent education
Several years of experience in contract management and/or coordination of environmental and sustainability issues in environmental assessment and EIA or other environmentally related areas, as a consultant, at a government agency or company.
Commitment to the role of environmental and sustainability issues in the development of society
Stimulated by working with other people and competencies in teams, and the ability to build trusting relationships
Good communicative ability both in writing and orally in Swedish and English
