Vattenfall IT is an internal IT full-service provider serving the entire Vattenfall Group. As a full-service IT provider, our goal is to excel in delivering efficient IT services and solutions. As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for managing the test activities, set up test plans, coordinating testers, managing stakeholders and reporting. Besides these activities, you may also be tasked with participating in test execution or test automation when necessary. This means you will have full delivery responsibility, thus helping the team to fulfil our service requests from the Nordics.
Qualifications
3-5 years' experience as a tester, preferably in the energy industry
Experience with Java development
ISTQB certification
Good verbal and written skills in English are essential
Experience in Cucumber/Jenkins or UFT
Swedish language skills are not a requirement, but are preferred
Additional language skills in other languages are a plus
Experience with SAP is a plus.
To succeed in this role you need to be a solution-oriented person who enjoys working proactively to deliver the most effective solutions. You need to be an effective communicator who can collaborate well with others. You also need to be able to be independent and have an internal capacity to move things forward, as well as the ability to organize and prioritize your work accordingly to meet all required demands and deadlines.
Location: Stockholm (Solna)
Security Vetting is part of the application process; for this you need to have lived a minimum of 5 years in a country where Vattenfall has a presence.
