Tasks and responsibilities:
Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer your main responsibility is development of company products (mechanical and electrical parts) in global projects. You are a driving part in the whole process from idea to industrialization and throughout the product life cycle with the main tasks related to mechanical design. Common tasks include analysing engineering sketches, specifications, and related data to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts.
The projects you work on vary a lot and include simple metal articles, plates to injec-tion moulded plastic articles with electrical conveyor belts to complete system of sensors to sense the position of a banknote or coin in a machine. You also take part in evaluation and approvement of design changes and that releases are in compliance with design specifications.
You will work in close collaboration with the manufacturing teams in Poznan, Poland and Zhuhai, China, and other manufacturing sites. You report to the Head of Cash Management Solutions.
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
Qualifications, experiences, and personal characteristics
• Minimum B.Sc. degree in Engineering
• Several years of experience with product development of products consisting of mechanics, electronics, and software
• Great knowledge and experience of using PTC Creo for mechanical development
• Excellent in English written and oral. Swedish is preferred but not a requirement

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to work independent ad be self-motivated. You must be comfortable working in a constant changing multi-cultural high pace environment. As you work with all levels of the organization and are a part of virtual teams there is a high demand on your collaboration skills.
