Arcam is looking for Senior Mechanical Design Engineers with to design and develop Arcam's machine systems. This role is part of our Hardware Development group consisting of 3 self-organized and cross functional teams capable of taking on responsibilities for developing sub-systems/components and/or functions. Together with your other team members you will ensure that we will achieve robust solutions with high reliability that are tested and validated and realized with lowest possible cost. In this job you will have the opportunity to grow and develop yourself in the additive technology and work in innovative agile team where you can influence and enable the next generation of Arcam EBM products.

Main responsibilities
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you are expected to contribute with expert knowledge and will perform tasks such as:
• Educate and lead new mechanical Engineers and other stakeholders
• Subject matter expert within mechanical subsystem and responsible for architecture development and creating the technical roadmap as well as technical requirement specification of this area
• Identify problem root cause and close knowledge gaps to ensure project targets are met at early stage of the development process
• Develop concept and document the solution evaluation
• Perform and document FMEA and Design Reviews in a cross functional setup
• Develop and document final solutions in Creo and Windchill
• Document each development case progress in Jira
• Contribute to improve the quality of our Design Guidelines
Requirements
To be the senior engineer we are looking for, we believe you have a relevant academic degree in Mechanics or Mechatronics and a minimum of 5 years' experience from working with Mechanical Design. Experience of working with powder distribution, heat management, and/or vacuum technology is an asset. You communicate in English and in Swedish (meritorious). You like to work in an international environment with high pace. You are an open-minded team player with willingness to find innovative solutions and to deliver results.
