Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Are you an innovator at heart and have a passion for solving complex design? This might be your new exciting opportunity where you will work with life-changing products in a production-oriented and international environment!
Xylem is in an exciting growth phase and we strengthen our R&D team with a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who will work with new development projects as well the chance to improve existing products of Xylem's next generation small and midrange wastewater pumps.
You will be part of a team 3 Product Owners and 7 Design Engineers working in close cooperation with Product Owners, Project Managers, Engineers and Technicians. At our headquarter in Sundbyberg you will work cross functionally with your colleagues in our well-equipped R&D laboratory and at our manufacturing site in Emmaboda.

Responsibilities
Designing new parts and products
Generation and implementation of technical product data
Technical support
Managing special orders
Updating existing 3D parts and drawings
Generation of solutions to technical problems
Developing and testing prototypes in both the laboratory as well as on the field
Qualifications
MSc level in Mechanical Engineering or similar
At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design or similar
Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
Experience working with Creo is preferred
