hela Sverige The Energy Management function will handle commodity risks inherent from regional unit Sweden and our customers. Main tasks for the role we are seeking include monitoring of exposures, ensuring compliance with limit and hedging frameworks and developing our portfolio management frameworks. The department will work closely, but independent, together with the Portfolio Management and Market Operation functions who will manage and transact both physical and financial exposures using relevant market places and counterparties. We offer you the chance to shape and develop our Market Risk function together with a very experienced team.
Our Market Risk department is searching for a Senior Market Risk Controller
Monitor commodity exposures and transaction flows to ensure compliance with limit and hedging frameworks
Design and implement new risk systems and technological platforms to enhance risk analytical tools and communicate risk
Ensure data integrity and consistency of information across the combined business and the avoidance of risk through timely and accurate reporting
Develop in-depth understanding of the Nordic commodity markets in order to pro-actively challenge hedging strategies
Assist in process for new product proposals
Keeping up to date with operational best practice
Participation in ad hoc projects as required
Keeping abreast of current trends and developments in areas of expertise
University degree with strong quantitative/financial/economics bias
Analytical skills in the context of commodity or financial markets
A good understanding of commodity markets in general, experience from the Nordic electricity market especially desired
Ability to query, challenge and maintain a high degree of professional integrity
Analysis and modelling skills using Excel (advance functions, VBA), Access or other analytical tools. Experience from ETRM systems highly desired
Fluent in English and Swedish languages
