hela Sverige Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
The section Contracted Services & Warranty is a part of the Services Delivery IT department at Scania IT and consists of five groups with own group managers, in total 80 persons. Together we provide solutions within the areas Scania Maintenance and Warranty, as well as developing the global contract platform.
In order to successfully support this section towards improved value creation with focus on agile ways of working, cloud computing and open source technologies, we are now looking for a driven, agile and forward thinking Senior Manager.
Your Responsibilities
Your role as a Section Manager will be to lead and support these five groups and their group managers. We believe that you are a Senior Manager with a passion for practicing servant leadership and driving forward agile ways of working. Furthermore you are humble and you want to develop your leadership skills continuously as well as develop the organization's work and processes through continuous improvements.
You ensure your teams ability by developing self-organized team through coaching, mentoring, and feedback. Bring enthusiasm and have the ability to see people and their possibilities. You will also help the team to develop innovative and cost efficient solutions and services which maximize business value. It is natural for you to create a business plan together with your organization and work on that with a clear focus. Furthermore, you have courage to challenge existing ways of working being creative in how you test these ideas.
Your Profile
We believe that you have experience in a similar leading role. You preferably have a background in one or several of the focus areas for the role and preferably experience with software development teams. You have an degree in IT or engineering, and/or equivalent experience which has given you the ability to talk in terms of IT matters and understand the reality of the users.
