International company seeks international mindset to re-invent bakery category
We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to take the responsibility of leading the innovation process and concept creation in Fazer Bakery Business Area. As a Senior Manager, Innovation you are expected to identify breakthrough opportunities to support growth and develop concepts that can exploit the potential.
Your role is to develop and implement a strategic roadmap and innovation pipeline for defined strategic focus areas. You are accountable for creating concepts with high commercial potential based on consumer insights and thorough market understanding. To succeed in implementation, you will help country units in localisation of successful concepts to their local markets. You will also have responsibility of bakery innovation process and keep track of the whole bakery innovation portfolio to make sure it responds to latest market trends and bakery strategy. You keep bakery management updated about the latest data and trends impacting the business, and promote the development of innovation culture. You will work in close co-operation with local country business units and external partners and report to Head of Marketing & Portfolio, Fazer Bakery Business Area.

What you'll bring to the team
You have a broad experience in senior marketing, innovation and/or business development roles in FMCG companies. You understand the business logic and performance management of international business, and you have a proven track record in creating commercial success with competitive advantage. Your strengths include analytical and pragmatic way of digging into complex problems and use facts related to consumer insights, market development and financials to prioritize and make decisions. Fast and agile way of working describes you well, and you are comfortable networking with outside company partners to create new offering and ways of working. You are experienced in change management and known for your positive attitude to lead and motivate others. For this position, we also value outside of the box thinking, creativity and enthusiasm, and willingness to interact in a matrix organisation at all levels regardless of the reporting lines. Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English as well as good presentation skills are mandatory. We expect you to hold a Master 's degree in marketing/business and excellent project management skills.
