Module Team Electrical Architecture is responsible for overall strategies for electrical designs, communication and dimensioning of electrical systems in the whole car. Those areas are covered in 2 Product System Structure (PSS) teams.
The module team has grown and we now introduce two Line Managers roles:
Senior Manager, Basetech Technology
This is a leadership position for the Basetech technology team covering responsibility within the Module Team Electrical Architecture. Basetech technology team is responsible for the Electrical base technology at CEVT including responsibility for the requirements, support, verification and development of future strategies for the complete base technology area, which includes: AUTOSAR, Communication, Diagnostics, Software download, OTA; cyber Security, Hardware platform, V2X etc.
Senior Manager, Electrical Architecture
This is a leadership position for the Electrical Architecture team within the Module Team Electrical Architecture. The Electrical Architecture team at CEVT is responsible for in-vehicle electrical architecture design including topology, function allocation, vehicle mode management, schematics, signal database and network management.
Both roles mean that you, as Senior Manager, will be responsible to for developing your team to securing quality on everyday deliveries. You will work in tight close co-operation with the System Manager, who secures project deliveries into our vehicle and technology projects.
As the roles are newly established role you will get the opportunity to influence and contribute to the content and to the shaping and development of a team consisting of highly skilled and motivated individuals.
You will report to the Module Team Director for Electrical Architecture with whom you will plan resource and team development needs. Further, you will be part of the module management team. The work principle within the Electrical Architecture Team is flexibility. You get to practice what you excel at within your area of responsibility, but as you are part of a larger team you will also support activities in other areas as well as getting support in your area.
Responsibilities and tasks
? Employee lifecycle responsibility for direct reports including recruitment, performance management and competence development.
? Providing coaching and guidance to employees to ensure deliveries and personal development
? Building up, developing and long term securing the needed competence, capacity and working processes within the system team
? Organizing, supervising and quality assurance of work activities
? Managing plans and deadlines
? Representing the system area in Launch Phase activities and lead and follow-up on change management
? Representing the system area in various cross-functional foras
? Supporting Module Team Directors and System Managers to evaluate engineering solutions
Profile and Background
? MSc or equivalent experience
? Leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach direct reports
? Ability and motivation to build high performing and diverse team with a strong team spirit
? Cultural awareness and an interest in diversity
? A flexible mindset with ability to lead change and development as well as taking decisions
? Ability to communicate clearly and being perceptive
? Background within engineering, product development and automotive experience is an advantage
? Fluency in English, both oral and written
