Volvo Bil in Gothenburg is a fully owned subsidiary company to Volvo Car Group. The operation of Volvo Bil is sale of new and used cars, car rental, service and repairs, direct service of body and paintwork, car parts, fuel and car wash. Volvo Bil operate as a car dealer. The customers of Volvo Bil is mainly Volvo Car Group, Volvo Group and their employees. The turnover of Volvo Bil is 6.200MSEK and the number of employees is about 300. The operation take place in four different plants in Gothenburg; Arendal,Lundby, Tuve and Torslanda.
As Senior Manager you will have the responsibility for the delivery and development within areas such as marketing communications, transportation, facility, work environment, education and fuel and car wash operation. You will drive by both strategic and long-term approach but also enjoys and is challenged by daily operation and deliveries. We at Volvo Bil stongly emphasises the corporate culture, we belive that you will be a true role model and, further you will lead, motivate, inspire your team and manage to drive complex projects that involve many different parts of the company.
Main responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for securing successfully delivery of the different complex areas within business support
* Work closely with different areas of the organisation to successful capture and deliver upon need and expectations
* You are a part of Volvo Bil management team and are expected to actively contribute in driving change and improvement activities, also outside the business support area and contribute to the development and success of the company
* You manage both strategic discussion, tactical and operational project deliveries, and successfully motivate the team
* Responsibility for goal setting and completion and follow up of work environment and environmental goals
* Drive facility related projects including budget and follow up of financial results
* Responsible for major external and internal audit activities
* Be an ambassador for Volvo Bil both internal and external
Required qualifications
* Bachelor degree or equivalent in business, economics or similar
* 5 years of experience from managerial positions
* Great business acumen and good understanding of business economy
* Strong ability to clearly articulate concepts and ideas both orally and written
* Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken
* Driving license
* Broad experience from car industry and retail business is meritorious
* Solid experience from working in complex projects is meritorious
