hela Sverige The Group Business Development team is charged with origination, development, and execution of Group strategy, acquisitions, divestments, venture capital investments including collaborations, partnerships and joint ventures globally.
Husqvarna Group has recently launched a Corporate Venture initiative, an umbrella for partnering and investing in early stage companies with a focus on strategically important areas currently transforming our industry. Such areas include robotics, IoT & digital services. The Venture arm further aims to capture new ways to innovate and create customer value in white spaces by means of speed & agility.
We are searching for a Senior Manager to establish, lead and drive the Corporate Venture activities for Husqvarna Group on a global scale.
The overall responsibility of the Senior Manager will be to shape the Venture investment strategy, govern the Venture process and secure solid deal flow and funnelling.
Establishing and maintaining Husqvarna Group Venture's presence in relevant communities and networks worldwide is a further responsibility - here you will lead and collaborate with external communications and PR as well as other functions within the Group. Stakeholder management is an essential part of the role. You will project-lead investments all the way from first contact through due diligence to signed & closed deals entering into collaboration models with Husqvarna operational teams, and in doing so you will work together with group and divisional management and leading senior workstream leaders from legal, finance, tax, product/R&D/technology. Portfolio management of current investments will also be a key responsibility, where initial focus will be on developing and establishing an annual review process and potentially other required governance principles.
You will be part of a small, tight-knit team and will report to the SVP Group Business Development.
Qualifications
Required
• MSc degree
• 5 years relevant professional experience
• Excellent finance and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience interfacing with all levels of management
• M&A / Venture Capital experience
• Excellent English skills
Preferred
• Management consulting background
• Additional languages to English
Interpersonal skills
• Curious, self-driven and proactive personality
• Ability to create strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally
• Ability to conceive, shape, drive, and build support for own ideas and concepts
• Fast learner
• Pragmatic and solutions oriented also in complex and challenging situations
This position is preferably located in Stockholm.
