We are looking for a leader who would like to work in a dynamic and high-tech environment managing our Accessories Engineering Department. Working closely with our international customers, we develop, manufacture and install efficient, environmentally friendly, and technologically advanced high-voltage cables, (HVC), for land and offshore applications worldwide.
Lead and develop our growing team of engineers
The accessories department are responsible for designing and developing new cable accessories for our cable systems and improving cable accessories within the department's product portfolio. The team works closely with our cable system designers as well as with our R&D and Service departments to make sure we deliver with high quality and on time to our customers.
Some of your tasks will be:
* To lead and manage the department of Design Engineers in their daily work with high focus to deliver on projects.
* Conduct resource planning on a continuous basis both for own department as well as set expectations to other departments.
* Develop and maintain relationship with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
You will belong to a growing engineering team of around 40 people as well as play a key role in the local engineering management team. In Karlskrona we are currently upscaling our production capabilities significantly as well as personnel capabilities and you will be employed at what will soon be the world's largest submarine cable factory, playing a key role in the creation of a better future by enabling the expansion of wind farms and optimizing energy supply between and within countries. We deliver complete solutions, cable systems and installation with our own vessel.

Additionally, your CV includes:
* BSc or MSc degree preferably within Engineering
* Have relevant experience and understanding from Mechanical Design Engineering or similar
* Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish.
* Leadership experience.
