You have the ability to use data to see patterns that are not visible to anyone else. You will work cross-functionally throughout the company, pairing with everyone from engineering to marketing to product to finance to our scientific research partners.
What you'll do:
Develop and improve our models for understanding of fishes and the fishing forecast.
Drive other improvements where machine learning and artificial intelligence could be used to gain more insights and data.
Work closely with researchers throughout the world to better understand fish populations and behavior.
You know how to fish in other ponds - meaning - you will work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Marketing and Management teams to drive data-driven solutions and alignment.
Wish List
3+ years in a data-intensive role and 1+ years experience of driving Machine learning, Artificial intelligence, deep learning efforts preferably at a startup.
Degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields, or equivalent quantitative training; advanced degree a plus.
Experience in using a variety of modern programming languages that suits the tasks.
Strong team player who enjoys working across multiple cross-functional teams.
