hela Sverige The Windows Products department 4358 within Site Gothenburg is responsible for the development, maintenance and finance of products running on the Windows platform. The group consists of 32 people working with various Windows Products. To stay at the cutting edge and meet our customers' high demands we need to strengthen our team with a highly motivated MS Lync Server Technical Specialist. Volvo IT has very large OCS and Lync installations and we are in the forefront in our use of the latest technology as well as keeping high service availability. During 2012-2013 we will see exciting developments, with new deployments, new customers and challenging opportunities.
You will be part of the Global Lync team. The team works globally with customers within the Volvo Group as well as with companies that outsource to Volvo IT. Our current environment includes Office Communications Server version 2007 and Lync Server 2010. Weekend and evening work is part of the job but the normal working hours are between 08:00-17:00
Profile:
We are looking for a person who has the ability to think "out-side-the-box" when it comes to our clients business needs. This includes scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, product configuration, testing, deployment and quality assurance.
Qualifications and skills required:
• Long experience in the IT field
• Strong customer focus
• Solid experience in the Windows server area and preferably from large scale environments
• Very good knowledge in the OCS and Lync product infrastructure
• PowerShell and scripting experience is considered an additional valuable qualification
• Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural organization
• Very good communication and documentation skills
• Well organized, with an eye for details
• Very good ability to keep many tasks in the loop
• Very good ability to collaborate in teams as well as being an independent driving force
• Good written and spoken English and Swedish are requirements.
