hela Sverige The rise of the sharing economy, urbanization, a growing concern for the environment and improvements in technology have all spurred the question: is there a better way to move around? This has triggered brands and cities to develop technologies and services that offer more convenient, efficient, and flexible ways to travel. Now that people have the choice, car sharing is literally exploding in number of users around the world. From only 350.000 in 2006, the number of car sharing users is expected to exceed 23 million in 2024.
This development made Volvo Car Group decide to launch a new global multiservice mobility venture (Volvo Car Mobility). Volvo Car Group has 20-30 years of experience in car sharing and rental and the new venture will be able to draw from a vast base of experience.

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel
In this role you will be the point in contact for all legal matters relating to Volvo Car Mobility and you will be part of the Volvo Car Mobility management team in Stockholm. You will also be an extended part of Volvo Car Group's Global Legal team. You will work closely with the experienced Legal team and also be able to draw from the extensive competence and experience from the Intellectual Property, Corporate Governance and Compliance & Ethics departments in Gothenburg.
In the role of Senior Legal Counsel for Volvo Car Mobility, you will:
* Provide legal advice in almost all kind of commercial and corporate legal matters, sometimes of complex and of global nature including document and contract drafting, negotiations with third parties
* Drive legal awareness and support the development of the operational model within Volvo Car Mobility
* Act as a linking pin between Volvo Car Mobility and Legal, IP, Corporate Governance and Compliance & Ethics departments and handle i.a. trademark, license, IT, privacy and corporate governance aspects
* Be a Compliance & Ethics Champion within Volvo Car Mobility and ensure adherence with Volvo Car Group's Code of Conduct and the Compliance & Ethics programmes especially within the areas anti-corruption and data protection.
* Manage external legal counsels in relevant jurisdictions globally as required
Qualifications
* Master of laws with grades in the upper tier
* Some 9-12 years of experiences in practising business law at a law firm and/or in-house
* Prior start-up experience, ideally in the technology and/or services sector
* Highly experienced and knowledgeable in all areas required to fulfil the key accountabilities
* Fluent in English
