In order to continue innovating and evolving the next generation of King games, we are looking for a passionate Game Developer combining strong coding skills and a true passion for games to join our studio in Stockholm. The studio works in small, agile game teams and has specialized in game development with our recently released engine Defold! We believe in giving all our teams ownership and the possibility to directly impact products and tools, so if making new games whilst experiencing the development of new tech up close sounds exciting - we would love to speak to you. More specifically, you will:
Deliver high quality and well-structured code
Design, architect and develop games
Take an active part in game creation and specification
Maintain and develop new and existing game features
Work closely with the Product Owner, Game Designer and the Game Artist
Share knowledge and help colleagues
Skills to create thrills
You are passionate about games and able to work in a flexible and fluid environment where you can learn every day.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. If you happen to be a self-taught wizard we will gladly receive you application.
Solid professional experience preferably within game development
Experience coding in Lua, although a background working with other languages combined with an interest in transitioning to Lua will be considered
Excellent teamwork skills, flexible, and ability to handle multiple tasks and take own initiative.
Tasty Bonus Skills
Experience working with additional languages such as; C++, ActionScript, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Java
