Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Senior Lead Engineer Mechanical Integration who will
• Be responsible for the Mechanical Integration of the Upperbody, Hang-on parts & related Interior & Electrical systems.
• Lead mechanical integration work in the chassie area during architecture and pre-study phase until SORP considering the complete product development lifecycle.
• Support the engineering and product development organization with a thorough theoretical and practical knowledge on over all vehicle items.
• Identify opportunities and/or implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce costs.
• Valuate the feasibility of new proposals and products.
• The Senior Lead Engineer Mechanical Integration reports to the Manager Mechanical Integration.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Relevant experience in the work area, minimum 10 years.
• Deep knowledge and experience in mechanical integration, awareness of attributes, production and is well familiar with the components and requirements in the area
• University engineering education or equivalent experience.
• Driver license B.
You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
To be successful in this role, you need to:
• Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded.
• Have good communication skills.
• Have the ability to plan and prioritize.
