For the Nordic sales team based near Malmo we are looking for a Key Account Manager with focus on Business Development for customers in the Nordic region. This Key Account Manager will be responsible for all commercial and project activities with allocated Key Accounts and reports to the Sales Director Benelux and Nordic who is based in the Netherlands.

Developing a deep understanding of our customers' business priorities and building constructive, long-term and sustainable relationships are key requirements in this role. In addition, the ability to make a passionate and well-reasoned case on our customers' behalf, within our organization, is of paramount importance to meet customer needs. Our Key Account Managers need to show a combination of commercial acumen with client servicing sensitivity and problem-solving inventiveness to be successful in our industry.

Key deliverables for the role as Key Account Manager:
• Signal, map and analyze trends, needs, opportunities and threats in the market and with customers.
• Develop and implement a business plan for own sales portfolio / business
• Give input for growth initiatives an pro-active promotions
• Develop an account plan for own accounts
• Expand acquisition at existing accounts and pro-actively acquire projects at new and existing customers via developing propositions and growth initiatives to increase sales, market share, profitability and win-rate.
• Define the need for presentations from the company's marketing, organize innovation days and present potential concepts and end products.
• Develop and implement pricing policy /increases for flavour submissions for existing and new business.
• Initiate customer projects, ensure adequate expertise and resources for projects and inform all involved regarding expectations of the customer.
• Maintain and build a relation network and be present at each customer contact with relevant expertise. Facilitate proper relation between senior management and the customer and handle all questions/complaints of the customer.
• Report and present sales- and project development, results, own business results and areas of responsibility to direct manager and senior management.

Vem är du?
• At least 4-6 years successful sales, marketing or customer relationship experience in food or related industries
• Has a proven track record in the flavour / ingredients or related industries segment
• Experience in key account management
• Experience in the successful implementation of sales concepts / strategies
• Experience in handling of different functional areas within customer's organisation
• Effectively generates new business by identifying unmet customer needs.
• Basic project management and organisational skills
• Is able to manage short-or mid-term projects target oriented and focused on closing the deal
• Effectively facilitates senior-level relationships with customers.
• Self-confident in handling all managerial and technical management levels

Furthermore you are creative with a sense for market trends within the food-industry, and you have a passion for flavour and taste along with the capability to create energy and enthusiasm among your customers. You have a strong networking ability and you communicate effectively on all levels.

You have a relevant education on a master's level, preferably within economics and/or marketing. You are fluent in Swedish and English. Danish is an advantage.
