Role
As a Senior JavaScript developer you will be part of our core development team that continuously enhance the Vergic Engage platform with new features that bring value to our customers. Responsibilities include:
• Building high-quality software applications
• Follow, improve and communicate best practices for front-end engineering
• Drive the completion of various of work tasks
• Help break down, estimate and provide just-in-time design for small increments of work
• Build strong team relations by actively helping team members
• Continuously learning as an individual and in a team

Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years software development experience (mainly in JavaScript)
• Knowledge of and experience with working in an Agile development environment
• Solid knowledge in JavaScript (including prototype-based inheritance, closures, event delegation, cross-browser issues)
• Strong understanding of HTTP/REST/API architecture
• Experience with MV*-inspired JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone.js
• Experience with CSS and CSS-preprocessors
• Experience with developing for mobile devices is preferred but not required
• Hands-on working experience with node.js and build tools like Grunt is preferred
• Good understanding of Web Standards, Accessibility, and semantic markup
Personal skills:
• Good communication skills both verbal and written (both Swedish and English)
• Ownership and drive
• Self-motivated with ability to work effectively under pressure
