Summary
As a Senior Java backend developer you will work with advanced server side solutions in Java. The Team is responsible to design and maintain tGem, which is the Tilgin Auto-Configuration server (ACS) used by telecom operators and internet providers world-wide, to manage hundred of thousands of TR-069 enabled devices like Home gateways, VoIP ATA and TV Set-top boxes.
Experience
We are looking for a Senior Java backend developer with at least 5 years of professional Java programming experience in Linux environment. You will work with techniques like MySQL, Hibernate, Spring framework, bash shell scripting, web services, advanced network configurations, cluster solutions and much more. Our solutions are Linux based and run as standalone servers as well as in high-availability solutions with several clustered nodes. Good knowledge in Java, bash shell scripting, networking and Linux are required.
Desired skills
The candidate should have good documentation and communication skills. You should be self-contained, dedicated and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. Be able to take initiatives and full responsibility in planning, investigations and system design; to make sure they fulfill requirements and customer expectations.
Tilgin works in a multicultural environment so the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. We think that you have a Bachelor or Master degree in computer or communication-related areas.
