About this opportunity
Welcome to the QA and Testing team. We work efficiently, consistently whilst driving innovation and automation within the QA Area. As the Senior Test Manager, you'll play a valuable role in ensuring quality in key deliverables at Nordea.
The role will involve an assignment for test management activities on strategic and operational level. You will collaborate with employees and consultants located across the globe. In the line, you will work within a team of QA professionals. You will continuously support the Nordea QA strategy and framework both on process and tool levels with input from your assignment.
You will contribute with:
* Strong test management and communication skills in various IT initiatives
* Supporting peers and stakeholders both strategically and operative level
* Ensuring an efficient test way of working and quality assurance maturity uplift with innovative activities
* Efficient test reporting on daily basis, as well as providing test evidence for the deliveries to production
* Securing compliance to Nordea standards and utilise the Nordea frameworks for efficient implementation
* Regularly supporting the developomnet of QA common strategies, frameworks and services
* Hands on development of QA supportive solutions
The environment in which you will operate in, will be one with rapid initial progress having a fair amount of uncertainty. Hence, it is vital that you are able to keep everybody working towards the common goal, solving multiple issues at the same time without losing neither speed nor quality.
Must have a knowledge of automation framework, regression testing suits and most importantly experinece of leading data driven projects. The role is based in Stockholm.
Who you are
You have strong communication skills and broad experience within communicating status/results from both waterfall and agile test projects. We believe that it is necessary for you to be familiar with working in a complex environment with multiple streams cross multiple internal organisations, utilizing internal/external resources from different cultures and companies.
When communicating, verbally and in writing, we are expecting that you can do so using English in an unhindered manner. Finally, you should be familiar with penetrating and understanding new, complex organisations by documenting and understanding current approaches, processes, organisation, tools etc., in order to together with QA management achieve a "step by step" improvement process in the QA area.
Your experience and background
You are a Senior IT Professional with several years' experience of test management. You will rapidly understand our processes and take a more hands-on approach if needed.
Further we value the following criteria:
* Have practical and strong leadership skills in how to lead change
* Documented project and test management experience in large initiatives
* Good level of understanding of full SDLC, preferably with experience of both waterfall, agile and SAFE and ITIL-processes
* Be able to set up test planning and test strategy definitions according to Nordea Standards & Frameworks
* Ensure that professional test management and reporting is being performed on all test levels
* Understand QA Role in SDLC, driving "shift left" activities towards our development units
* ISTQB Software Testing certification
* Bank & Finance Experience
* Hands-on experience in strategic and operative test planning, test execution & test reporting
* V-models & agile test approaches
* Knowledge of ETL and datawarehouse testing procedures
* BI Knowledge - Testing large data volumes, using data as a key asset and converting it to business outcomes (UAT)
* Experience in CI/CD tools such as: Jira, qTest, Git, Bitbucket is an advantage
