GIS (Global Information Services), the IT department of Husqvarna AB, is responsible for the delivery of IT-services throughout the group. The organization is based on the major hub sites Huskvarna and Charlotte, US and delivers its services globally. The P&PM (GIS's Program & Portfolio Management) is the owner of the IT project portfolio and responsible for the controlled management and delivery of key programs and projects. In collaboration with other IT functions within the Group, P&PM creates a consolidated and optimized IT roadmap that is aligned with the Husqvarna Business & IT strategy. P&PM owns the IT budget for change initiatives and as such is responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process for all programs and projects within the GIS department.

In the role as project manager you are expected to take the full responsibility for planning, executing and controlling of the project throughout the entire project lifecycle. As such you will also ensure that projects and programs are delivered and completed on time, within cost and according to the required quality standards. You are expected to have oversight of key on-going project initiatives assigned to you, within GIS and towards the various business units within the Husqvarna group. You will pro-actively work to foresee and identify project risks and mitigate consequences accordingly. The position reports to the Business Engagement Director, and is placed in Huskvarna.

In order to thrive in the position we believe that you are result oriented with a good ability to create solid relationships. You inspire your environment and have the ability to influence stake holders at all levels. You need to be proficient in handling several projects simultaneously and you have a strong interest in project management. You are good at prioritizing and can value what is important in a complex environment.

Formal qualifications are a university degree within Information Systems, Computer Science or similar and minimum five years experience in roles where you have demonstrated success in managing system development projects and rollouts. You will also need functional expertise in one or more of the following areas: CRM; eCommerce; ERP systems such as: SAP, JDEdwards and Microsoft Dynamics; Demand and Supply Chain Planning; Information Management: MDM, Business DW and Intelligence; Organizational Change; Shared Service Centers. Experience from working in a global organization is a strong merit and familiarity with different project management methodologies is a must.  Proficiency in Swedish and English is needed, experience from a manufacturing environment is a plus.
