Senior IT Manager Operation

Consumer Application IT Service Development is a group within the department Consumer Application IT Service and part of the function Consumer IT services, reporting to Volvo Car Group CIO. Consumer IT Services was established to make a paradigm shift in how IT is delivering proactive End to End IT services in the scope of Connected Car and Consumers to ensure optimal consumer experience. In the function we are outlining the long term direction for Consumer IT Services and drive business development through innovative IT as well as managing new and running services through know how, development, maintenance and support.

Consumer Application IT Services is responsible for running development, operation and maintenance globally for Consumer facing applications such as volvocars.com, MyVolvo, Volvo Buying Service (Car Configurator) and more. Systems in the portfolio are mainly accessible from the internet.

We are looking for a self-motivated leader with excellent communication skills that is able to work in a future oriented, fast paced, demanding environment with great colleagues.

As Senior IT Manager for Consumer Application Operation IT Service's you will hold the overall global responsibility for successful operation delivery of all application/services within Consumer Application's portfolio.

Main responsibilities

• Secure global operation (Application Management, Support, Incident & Problem resolution)
• Responsible for roadmap and total cost of ownership - Forecast, Plan and follow up on budget
• Management of the employees and operational management of the consultants
• Lead the operations to make sure that the service impacts the National Sales Companies' in a sufficient way
• Application/Lifecycle plans
• Supplier Management
• Secure delivery capabilities - short and long sight

Required qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience
• Documented leadership experience
• General business acumen in digital and global web presence
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English
• Knowledge of ITIL
• General understanding on how to connect digital channels to a user experience that provides value to our end users
• General knowledge in data driven approaches to deliver personalised experiences throughout the digital ecosystem
• General knowledge in API set ups to deliver services
• General knowledge from Content Management Systems (Sitecore Optional)
• General knowledge of techniques used for public facing websites
• General knowledge of Web as marketing Channel
• Experience from digital transformation
