Senior IT Manager Enterprise Application Services
We are looking for a Senior IT Manager to lead the development of the organization into next phase. Separation from Ford and move into new markets and implementation of new strategic solutions for the company imposes new interesting challenges.
You will lead 4 teams with approximately 50 IT professionals with a responsibility to deliver application support, maintenance and operations services supporting Finance, HR, Quality, Purchasing, Sales Companies, R&D and IT. You will continue to develop SAP and Microsoft SharePoint capabilities and establish a service management function. Services included in organization consist of: SAP CoE, Microsoft Portal, Office 365, BI, Intranet, Search, Volvo Data Warehouse, Notes Domino platform, Documentum, Client applications, Integration Center, WAS and Directory Services.
You will work with governance of IT services to find synergies and increase efficiency.
The position reports to IT Director AMS and is based in Gothenburg.
Enterprise Application Services (EAS) is part of Application Management Services (AMS) within Volvo Cars IT. EAS provides enterprise shared solutions cross business and IT globally at Volvo Cars. Services are provided both in-house, via cloud and outsourcing partners.
Job Profile:
• Participate in AMS Management Team
• Support projects throughout the lifecycle, participate as a Steering Committee member
• Participate in customer, IT and supplier forums
• Secure service maintainability on new solutions
• Drive internal maintenance projects
• Drive life-cycle management for application portfolio
• Develop and follow-up services by implementing a common Maintenance model cross EAS
• Support IT Strategy work
• Implement sourcing strategy and challenge existing supplier contract portfolio
• Financial forecast follow-up
• Develop the organization and your Team members
Your profile:
• Senior Management experience and highly developed management skills
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Good analytical skills
• Integrity, curiosity, courage and change management mindset
• Process overview ability and holistic view
• Ability to shift from details to overall strategy and processes
• Structured and well organized
• Sense of urgency, many services/applications in this area can stop production
• Solid understanding of value added IT to enhance business processes
• Experience from negotiations and handling agreements.
• Global mindset and ability to work in virtual multicultural teams
• SAP and/or Microsoft solutions development and maintenance experience
• Outsourcing experience
• University degree in either Engineering, Business Administration or an IT related topic
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Information Technology
