IT Architect, Data engineer, IT Analyst, Data Specialist, Cloud expert
We are now looking for an IT Architect/Analyst to perform data analysis and architectural transformation tasks. You will be working as an interface between business and IT to help translate the business requirements into IT mappings, as well as help understand data patterns, defining architectural landscape.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Requirement & Analysis - Data Warehousing team. We provide data platform experts to a variety of internal projects in a capability based model. You will be allocated to one (or more) projects with a specific role in the execution structure, which might change from time to time. We specialize in data analysis, data modelling, and data architecture. As the IT Architect/Analyst you will play a crucial role in project development lifecycle. The data warehouses you will work on are primarily built in snowflake (AWS cloud). Your role as the Data Analyst/Architect will help us greatly in understanding the information available to us and also help the technical team in building optimal solutions.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead and manage the projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from defining the strategic roadmap with business, developing the technology blueprint, planning the phased IT implementation, setting up the team and the governance structures related to the production rollout / project activities
* Ability to translate strategic goals through transitional delivery steps, even if that implies justified technical debt to achieve the business outcome
* Perform complex data analysis to help IT clarify requirements towards business and test use cases
* Ability to initiate and recommend appropriate data governance processes, organisational models, and technologies to address the business needs
* Advise internal stakeholders on leading practices for the implementation of data governance, master data management

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
* Must be very good in interpersonal communications and must have a command over English language
* Have passion for data analysis and problem solving
* Ability to communicate technical concepts in simple terms, you must be comfortable presenting solution design concepts and guiding solution design discussions / sessions
* Ability to work independently, as well as guide and mentor other team members, partners and customers
* Be willing to work in cross-border teams and open to traveling, if needed
Your experience and background:
* At least 8 years of relevant experience in IT
* Experience working in multinational virtual teams
* Some knowledge of AWS and snowflake
* Understanding of Data Warehousing industry standards
* Understanding of ETL/BI/Data Analytics/Architecture processes
* Experience in writing SQL
* Qualification: Minimum 8+ years' experience, Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree Preferred)
* Should have experience in developing target and transitional architecture design/s with an engineering mindset to ensure solution quality assurance on both the functional and non -functional requirements
