A typical day
Your role is the global champion within Electrolux for minimizing fraud risks. This means educating employees across the Group about fraud risks and being a visible contact person for their concerns. If allegations are reported it means logging them and making sure they are investigated according to best practices and high standards of ethics. Either by conducting the investigation or by overseeing it using external resources. You will be reporting to Director Internal Audit.
Some of your objectives will be to keep the Group's employees informed about fraud risks and what to do if they suspect a fraud. At the same time make it as easy as possible for everyone to report concerns. You will ensure that we are keeping track on all allegations of fraud and find ways to detect fraud earlier through the use of data. Conduct high quality investigations into fraud allegations to maximize chances of determining if the allegation is true or not, at the time maintain a network with other functions involved in fraud topics such as HR, Legal etc.
Some of the key operational responsibilities:
• Creating and running trainings that increase awareness of fraud risks and how to reduce them.
• Logging, monitoring and reporting on the status of reported allegations of fraud.
• Creating and updating a fraud allegation manual that governs the conduct of fraud investigations at Electrolux with roles and responsibilities and current best practices.
• Maintaining a network with other relevant stakeholders both inside and outside the company to trade knowledge, avoid inefficiencies and maximize the probability that suspicions of fraud reach Management Assurance & Special Assignments (MA&SA) as early as possible.
• Running projects such as data analytics to improve the ability to detect, prevent and investigate fraud allegations.
• Document processes for e.g. access to sensitive data that safeguard compliance with relevant legislation as well as Electrolux's ethical standards.
