Scania IT has about 900 employees and is represented in Sweden, Holland, France, Belgium, Latin America and India.
Integration Services within the Shared IT Services department is responsible for Scania's integration ecosystem. It is business critical and vital for ensuring that systems (A2A, B2B and M2M) can exchange information and functionality on a daily basis. Right now the integration area is facing a continuous increase of information exchange, along with new demands of API management, IOT, messaging, streaming and cloud services.
Your tasks
To meet the business requirements we need to strengthen the core team with a senior Integration architect. We are seeking an architect who will take a strategically important role in Scania IT and set forth future integration roadmaps in cooperation with Scania's colleagues.
The role of the Integration architect includes developing the integration strategy (considering existing and future solutions) as well as supporting Scania's overall IT architecture and the daily operations of our services. For this role it is important to keep up to date with technology trends and industry patterns as well understanding and adopting agile working methods in the architectural work.
Your profile
Expectations on the role holder is the ability to highlight the consequences of previous decisions made and the consequences of possible future changes within the integration eco-system setup - both from a technical and a business context.
We expect that you have at least 5-8 years' of architectural experience in the integration area and good knowledge in areas such as security, API management, micro-services and mobility. We expect that you have an academic degree or the equivalent work experience.
The role requires the abilities to be a leader and influencer and good command in English as you need to communicate with colleagues globally.
