As our Instrument Engineer you will join our team of discipline engineers within TD&E. Together you will support and contribute to multiple, cross-functional projects for our locations in Stenungsund in order to improve performance and development of our plants. You will support our project managers and TD engineers as well as guide and follow up the work of the local engineering partners from pre-studies to execution, brown filed and green field.
As an Instrument Engineer in TD&E, you will support and guide the EPC(m) contractor to strive for easy/simple solutions and in the end approve the technical solution within your area of expertise. You will support the PM to assess all changes in the project related to your discipline regarding safety, time, quality and costs. You will actively participate in review meetings with preferred vendors to evaluate performance, support and implement the use of Common Engineering Specifications and be a guardian of the standardization and coordinates deviations. You will also ensure that the relevant local and international regulations are mentioned in the contract documents for the contractor and vendors.
Contribution
Actively stimulate, challenge and support the Engineering contractor and internal stakeholders to strive for easy/simple solutions in studies & projects.
Define and ensure sufficient competences from Engineering contractor.
Provide technical expert advice, calculations and engineering activities to projects, Plant Availability and Production.
Secure the correct technical solutions in projects with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership.
Maintain and develop local Procedures and Instructions.
Review, approve and challenge technical documents/solutions in all project phases.
Acts as Technical Network member representing the local plant sharing experience within the network.
About you
You are the right candidate for this position if you have a Master's or Bachelor's degree from acknowledged university, or equivalent, mastery of English at a business level and minimum 5 years' experience as an instrument engineer in EPC and/or EPCM petrochemical industry or other relevant area. We believe you are an active team player who enjoys to contribute to our companies success.
