hela Sverige We are looking for a driven and creative Senior Instructional Designer to join our Global After Sales Team.
You will be a key resource to the team as one of the experts on creating a world class learning experience for our global Husqvarna Dealer network.
Be part of our Global After Sales team, we are 13 colleagues based in Huskvarna and Stockholm. The Global After Sales team's key targets are to support the markets in their daily After Sales operation, increase the P&A business, develop the Workshop concept and establish and drive Service Business Development . We also support the markets with IT related systems such as Web Warranty and Electronic Parts Catalogue. Our Husqvarna University is another tool to increase competence within product, sales and aftersales areas for all job roles within a dealership.
As a Senior Instructional Designer you will work in an international environment and you will have contact with many of our colleagues around the world on a daily basis!
The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for working closely with different categories to conceptualize, design and write highly interactive learning solutions (i.e. e-learning, instructor-led training, blended solutions) that target learning objectives and improve performance. The Senior Instructional Designer serves as a thought leader and innovator of instructional design approaches.
Responsibilities
The Senior Instructional Designer will:
• Author and create instructional strategies based on client/category need
• Create training content using custom storyboard templates
• Provide guidance and specialized knowledge to other members of the team
• Develop alliances and working relationships with subject matter experts
• Work cross-functionally with creative and technical departments to build client solutions
• Develop and participate in system and user acceptance testing
• Keep abreast of new design methodologies and innovative approaches in the industry
Education and Professional Experience
The Senior Instructional Designer has:
• University degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Design
• At least 3 years of experience developing custom training solutions
• At least 3 years of Project Management experience
• Ability to travel occasionally
General Knowledge and Skills
The Senior Instructional Designer can:
• Explain and apply current instructional systems design theories, methodologies, and best practices
• Use multimedia and web-based applications to design training solutions
• Develop storyboards, scripts, and assessment tools
• Translate written content into visual descriptions (graphics, animations, interactive charts and graphs, video-based scenarios)
• Maintain strong client relationships, both internally and externally
• Exhibit strong problem-solving and business acumen skills
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication skills
• Adapt quickly and easily to changing requirements and needs from internal and external clients
• Present ideas and deliverables both formally and informally
• Work independently as well as collaboratively
• Ensure content accuracy and appropriateness
• Work as a team player
• Use Microsoft Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline or similar with minimal support
This position is preferably located in Huskvarna, Sweden but can also be located elsewhere.
