What do we offer
The Innovation & Digital Services (IDS) team, create new business opportunities in the edge of digital technology.
The role is challenging and rewarding. As Senior Innovation Manager within IDS you will act as an entrepreneur and lead activities throughout the whole innovation process, similar to what you would do as CEO of a start-up. You will identify opportunities in new areas for Volvo Cars and bring them to life. This means collaboration with big companies as well as start-ups all over the world. It also involves being on top of trends and utilizing the edge of technology. You get an opportunity to work together with highly skilled collegues in an exciting, global enviroment which provides opportunities to develop both personally and professionally
What you'll do
You will lead, develop and evaluate concepts or investigations that can bring high potential value for Volvo Car Group. That encompasses creating totally new businesses opportunities by developing concepts and evaluating them both with users, customers and stakeholders. It also means creating business plans and scouting for suitable start-ups and partners.
You will work closely with developers and other competences, depending on the type of concept.
You will be an active leader and team member that contribute to the team spirit and challenge the way we do things in a positive manner.
You and your skills
You have experience of working with start-ups or starting own company, or as an entrepreneur in a larger corporation. You have a strong drive and experience of leading development of new businesses. You feel comfortable and can act in an agile environment. You have at least 8-10 years of progressive responsibility in an entrepreneurial or innovation manager role. You have experience of acting in an international context. Preferably, you also have a Bachelor 's or M. Sc. Degree in relevant area.

You have a high entrepreneurial mind-set and capability to build and maintain good business relationships. You are open minded and a driven with high level of business acumen. You are motivated to work independently as well as in teams and being able to contribute on our exciting journey ahead. You love to travel and see this as a natural part of your job.
