The main objective is to research and develop innovative thermodynamic system solutions by assessing new technologies and ideas in the TRM and support the productline innovation areas with high technical risk and proving the technical feasibility by functional prototypes.
Key operational responsibilities
Perform simulations on advanced thermodynamic systems and connect results with lab tests.
Development of simulation software
System design, prototyping, testing and evaluation.
System optimisation in terms of cost, performance and reliability.
Design and develop tests methods for advanced thermodynamic systems.
Assist PD / Module projects by hands-on implementation support and guidance.
Reporting to
Director Global Adv Dvlpmnt Food Pres and part of the technology competence area of advanced cooling systems
Competencies needed
Masters degree, or equal, in mechanical engineering, thermodynamics or other relevant field.
7+ years of experience in thermodynamic systems design and its application.
Knowledge of the retail appliance industry in general and the food preservation category in particular is preferred.
Ideal candidates should have good presentation and interpersonal skills.
Applicants should be computer proficient and MS-Office fluent with advanced skilles in MS Excel.
