Job description
We are looking for an experienced I&V engineer in our Product Development Unit (PDU) Microwave Networks located in Mölndal, Sweden. The unit is responsible for the development of microwave system products (MINI-LINK) and has R&D activities at sites in Mölndal and Borås in Sweden, as well as Budapest Hungary, Milan Italy and Beijing China.
This organization maintains close contact between business management, market units, product management and design.
The responsibilities of the functional unit I&V unit are:
• Main responsibility for integration & verification of MINI-LINK
• Coordinating of I&V activities carried out for the MINI-LINK portfolio
• Main responsible for interoperability tests of MINI-LINK portfolio towards other BNET products and external products
• Driver for Youlab and Mobile Backhaul tests in the PDU
• Type Approval/Type Acceptance tests for MINI-LINK
As an I&V engineer you will work with testing our product in different test environments. You will have the opportunity to work with other skilled engineers in an international environment.
Typical tasks
• Prepare verification, writing test proposals and verification specifications
• Contribute in reviews
• Perform functional and performance tests on MINI-LINK products
• Write test records
• Participate in customer testing activities
Qualifications
Required skills
• Ethernet L2
• Experience with instruments used in a microwave lab
• MINI-LINK product knowledge
• Experience in verification and test methodology
• SW/HW design experience is an advantage
Desired skills
• Bachelor or Masters degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Good written and spoken English
• Good communication and co-operation skills
• An open-mind, take own initiatives and an interest in learning new things
