About the role

We are expanding our product development department and are looking for a senior heat system application engineer for our Laboratory team. You will play a vital role in the product development of heat pumps, working closely with refrigerantion engineers and utilizing your expert knowledge in HVAC applications. You will be responsible for calculations, dimensioning, and analysis of heat pump systems and their surrounding systems.

Your responsibilities include:

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in heat pump technology to continously enhance product development processes

• Provide technical expertise and support to our teams

• Perform calculations, dimensioning and analysis

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including refrigeration engineers, mechanical design engineers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of heat pump systems into various applications

What we would like you to have

Besides an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to deal with constant change, we would like you to have:

• 5+ years experience as a HVAC engineer or similar

• Knowledge in thermodynamics and heat pump technology

It's also beneficial if you have some of the following:

• Knowledge in European household heat and cooling systems applications

• Experience in start up/scale up environment
