WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a functional leader that can bring our organization to a world class safety culture.
A stellar Work Environment Engineer with established HSE experience, preferably from chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
Your focus as HSE Specialist is to develop and implement effective processes, support the organization with expertise and ensure competence in the work environment area. Another key area for the role, is to run and develop the management system for work environment in cross-functional teams, as well as monitor and implement new legislation across the whole business.
• You have an outstanding "attention to details- and observation" ability.
• You have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• You are goal oriented, curious, and eager to learn and you are of course fluent in English.
Other skills required:
• Ability to communicate guidelines to a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural workforce
• Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
• Deep understanding of legal guidelines in the HSE areas, especially in health and safety related to chemical risks
• Deep knowledge in the requirements of ISO 14001
• University degree
• Several years of professional HSE experience in manufacturing industry, preferably from chemical or pharmaceutical industry.

As an HSE Specialist you will be one key function to finalize the construction- and industrialization of our second production site in greater Stockholm.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Senior HSE specialist you will make sure that health, environment, chemical and machinery safety meets the highest standards and complies with the legislation and internal standards.
This role offers both hands-on work in our daily operations as well as strategic work within the cross-functional forums at Exeger. You do not wait for others to act, rather, you lead the way. With a high say - do ratio, you own decisions made and articulate the direction, goals, and priorities from a holistic perspective.
We are looking for you, a natural functional leader, with a hands-on attitude that inspire others to improve how they think and act. Motivating them to contribute to a great safety culture.
• Preparing and enforcing policies and procedures to optimize our culture of health and safety to next level
• Provide guidance and support in complying with all external demands and internal objectives
• Develop risk reduction strategies for practices, procedures and facilities to ensure adherence to the law and other requirements
• Develop and execute HSE plans for proactive work
• Conduct coaching and training within environment, chemical risks, fire, health and safety
• Facilitate HSE audits and inspections (owned by the business) and act as center of excellence to support delivery of action plans to handle deviations
• Lead incident investigations to ensure root cause analysis and actions of high quality
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
• Report on HSE awareness, issues and statistics
• Member of Exeger Quality Team and representative in HSE related forums
