In this position you will develop hardware and embedded software in our products (e.g. LUCAS device) with specialty of microcontrollers and C programming. Your major duties/responsibilities will be:
Analysis of system level customer requirements and synthesis of those requirements into appropriate and verifiable software and hardware specifications to meet both business and technical needs
Development of complex software and hardware designs and applications to meet customer and system requirements
Design PCB with help of CAD systems
Estimate deliverable sizes and task efforts
Document requirements, design, code and tests for maintainability
Ensure testability at the unit and integration levels for reliability
Design and conduct component qualifications
Lead and participate in technical reviews
Provide training and mentoring to junior team members
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To succeed in the position you are a driven and systematic person with a demonstrated ability to determine and independently meet project objectives. You are a communicative person who can transfer skills and knowledge in an informative and easy digestible way. You are clear in your message and not afraid to question if needed.
Experience from working in the medical device industry and cardiac related medical devices is preferable. Furthermore, you have knowledge of good design methodologies and patterns and experience in designing safety critical software for medical devices or products in a regulated industry. You are familiar with Eagle Cad system and demonstrated advanced knowledge of C and C++. You also have a demonstrated understanding ofand ability to follow good software development processes . In addition to a university degree in engineering, you have at least 3 to 5 years work experience in development ofhardware and embedded software. You use English and Swedish fluently in speech and writing.
